Tommy
Johnson recorded his songs in 3 separate recording sessions
between 1928 and 1930 . The first two sessions were recorded
in Memphis, Tennessee in February and in August of 1928, for
the Victor label. The third session, was recorded in Grafton,
Wisconsin either in December of 1929 or January of 1930 for
Paramount.
